Turning Point USA Reveals “All-American Halftime Show” Lineup Ahead of Super Bowl LX

As Super Bowl LX approaches, a new cultural event has emerged alongside the traditional halftime entertainment. The conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA has announced its own alternative performance called the “All-American Halftime Show,” set to air during the same halftime period as the official Super Bowl performance. This move reflects ongoing debates over music, culture, and audience preferences surrounding one of the most watched events on American television.

The alternative halftime show is scheduled for February 8, 2026, coinciding with the Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Rather than broadcasting through the NFL or major television networks, Turning Point USA plans to stream the event across multiple digital platforms and partner networks, reaching viewers seeking a family-friendly and patriotic celebration.

At the center of this lineup is Kid Rock, the well-known musician who has become popular among conservative audiences. Alongside him, the show will feature performances from country artists Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett — all established names in contemporary country and rock music. The group’s organizers state that the event is intended to highlight values like faith, family, and freedom, offering an alternative to the official halftime show headlined by international pop star Bad Bunny.

Turning Point USA first announced plans for the alternative performance in October 2025 after conservative criticism of the NFL’s choice of Bad Bunny for the Super Bowl halftime show — a decision that sparked debate among fans and commentators across the political and cultural spectrum. The group says its event will be entertaining for viewers who prefer music rooted in traditional American styles and themes.

The alternative performance is set to begin around 8 p.m. Eastern Time and will be available on platforms such as YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Rumble, and partner outlets like Daily Wire+, Real America’s Voice, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and others. This multi-platform approach aims to capture a segment of the audience looking for different entertainment during the Super Bowl halftime window.

While the NFL’s official halftime show remains the centerpiece of Super Bowl evening entertainment, this parallel event marks a notable instance of what media experts call counterprogramming — offering alternative content to attract viewers who might otherwise tune away during the main broadcast. For Turning Point USA, the All-American Halftime Show represents both a cultural statement and a unique entertainment opportunity on one of the biggest nights in American sports.
